Position: Head Boys Wrestling Coach

Location: Mason Middle School

Minimum Qualifications:

• CAP Certification Preferred
• C.P.R. Certification and First Aid Certification Preferred
• Substantial knowledge of the fundamental and technical aspects of Wrestling
• Ability to effectively foster the improvement of student - athletes as Wrestling athletes
• Must abide by the Waterford School District Coaches Handbook and overall District athletic philosophy

Essential Functions:

• Plan, organize and facilitate practices
• Oversee and manage game play
• Assist athletes in developing wrestling fundamental skills
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Work effectively with the entire coaching staff and athletic department
• Teach, maintain and enforce character and academic expectations within the program

Reports To: Building Principal & Building Assistant Athletic Director

Workday/Week: Varies

Starting Date: TBD

Compensation: Determined by Teacher Master Agreement and years of experience
