About the Role:

The Head Golf Pro is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing all golf operations at a premier golf facility in the United States. This role focuses on delivering exceptional golf instruction, managing golf events, and enhancing the overall member and guest experience. The Head Golf Pro will lead a team of golf professionals and staff, ensuring high standards of service and operational excellence. Additionally, this position involves strategic planning to grow golf program participation and revenue while maintaining the integrity and reputation of the club. The successful candidate will serve as the face of the golf operation, fostering strong relationships with members, guests, and the broader golf community.

Minimum Qualifications:

• PGA or LPGA Class A Professional certification or equivalent recognized golf professional accreditation.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in golf instruction and golf operations management.
• Proven leadership experience managing a team within a golf facility or country club environment.
• Strong knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a private club or resort setting with a high level of member service.
• Demonstrated success in growing golf program participation and revenue.
• Familiarity with golf course maintenance and agronomy principles.
• Proficiency with golf management software and point-of-sale systems.
• Additional certifications in golf fitness, mental coaching, or related specialties.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert golf instruction and coaching to players of all skill levels, including private lessons, group clinics, and junior programs.
• Manage daily golf operations, including tee time scheduling, tournament coordination, and golf shop oversight.
• Recruit, train, and supervise assistant golf professionals and support staff to ensure consistent service quality.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote golf programs, increase participation, and drive revenue growth.
• Maintain strong relationships with club members, guests, vendors, and industry partners to enhance the club's reputation and member satisfaction.
