About the Role

Umbrella Corporation is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead our finance function in Bangkok. This role is critical to driving financial excellence, supporting business growth, and ensuring strong governance across the organization.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Head of Finance will oversee all financial operations, provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership, and ensure compliance with local regulations and global best practices. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership capability and commercial insight.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Act as a strategic finance partner to the executive team, supporting long-term business planning and decision-making
• Lead the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives
• Provide financial insights, forecasts, and scenario analysis to support growth initiatives and investments

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning
• Establish and monitor key financial KPIs to track performance

Governance, Compliance & Risk

• Ensure compliance with Thai financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements
• Oversee internal controls, financial policies, and risk management frameworks
• Lead external audits and act as the main point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies

Team Leadership & Development

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team
• Set clear goals, provide coaching, and support professional development
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance function

Business Operations & Process Improvement

• Drive efficiency through process optimization, automation, and system improvements
• Partner with other departments to support operational planning and cost management
• Evaluate and improve financial systems, tools, and reporting capabilities

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Masters degree preferred)
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly desirable
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, with significant experience in a senior leadership role
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and compliance in Thailand
• Experience working in a multi-entity or fast-growing organization is a plus
