    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities

    Executive Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain trusted, ongoing relationships with senior leaders across Gridsight’s U.S. customer base—not just at key milestones, but continuously.
    • Represent Gridsight at the most senior levels of the U.S. power and utilities sector, ensuring we remain front of mind for strategic conversations.
    • Act as a credible peer to utility leadership. You will be technically informed, commercially sharp and deeply familiar with the pressures facing electric utilities today.

    Commercial & Product Direction

    • Translate what you hear from utility leadership into clear commercial and product signals for Gridsight, separating genuine strategic need from tactical noise.
    • Work closely with the CEO and Product teams to ensure U.S. market and roadmap priorities reflect what our utility partners actually need.
    • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with our U.S. partners. These are strategic conversations that reinforce value, surface emerging challenges, identify where Gridsight can add more value, and strengthen our position as a long-term transformation partner.

Value Articulation & Business Case Development

    • Articulate, measure and communicate the value Gridsight delivers to our utility partners and their customers.
    • Develop robust business cases and ROI analyses that support investment decisions and demonstrate ongoing, quantifiable impact.

    Thought Leadership

    • Represent Gridsight across the U.S. power sector through industry events, utility forums, LinkedIn, podcasts and other relevant channels.
    • Contribute to Gridsight’s reputation as the leading grid-technology partner for U.S. utilities, reinforcing our commitment to the market as we scale globally.

    Qualifications

    Experience

    • Deep experience in or adjacent to U.S. electric utilities. You understand how these organizations operate, how regulatory and investment decisions are made, and what their leadership teams care about.
    • Demonstrated ability to build trusted, senior relationships in the U.S. power sector. You are known and respected in the industry.
    • A track record of navigating complex, high-stakes stakeholder environments at the COO, EVP, SVP or equivalent level.
    • A strong commercial background. You know how to develop a business case and demonstrate value in the context of utility priorities and constraints.

    Technical Skills

    • Technical depth to engage substantively with utility executives and technical leaders on distribution operations, DER integration, grid planning, interconnection and related domains.
    • The ability to translate technical complexity into clear commercial and strategic language.

    Commercial & Interpersonal Skills

    • You are an exceptional communicator—credible and compelling whether presenting to a board, running a QBR or contributing to industry debate.
    • You have the commercial acumen to connect operational and technical realities to business value and investment decisions.

    Attributes

    • Gravitas: you command respect in a room of senior power-sector leaders.
    • Strategic thinking: you identify what matters most and focus energy accordingly.
    • Ownership: you are a self-starter who takes responsibility for outcomes and operates effectively with significant autonomy.
    • Resilience and adaptability: Gridsight is a technology company, not a utility. You are energized by the opportunity and challenge of operating differently.

    Helpful But Not Essential

    • Prior experience in a strategy, market development or commercial leadership role at a technology or SaaS company.
    • Existing relationships with senior leaders at U.S. electric utilities.
    • Familiarity with U.S. utility regulatory structures and state-level market dynamics.

    What We Offer

    • Join a rapidly scaling, venture-backed company at a pivotal moment in its growth.
    • Highly competitive compensation and meaningful equity.
    • A seat at the table as a core member of the U.S. leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO and shaping how Gridsight shows up and grows in the market.
    • A flexible U.S.-based working environment, with regular travel to customers and industry events.
    • Real impact on the United States’ energy transition and global decarbonization efforts.
