This is a fast-paced, interactive position with CCFBank, a successful financial institution with locations throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. We are looking for a committed individual with excellent communication skills to lead our Teller Team while remaining customer-oriented and eager to build and maintain customer relationships.

As a Head Teller/ Universal Banker, you will be responsible for establishing, retaining, and deepening customer relationships by performing efficient and accurate banking transactions including but not limited to opening and closing accounts in support of Bank goals and objectives. Bonus points if you're community focused and excited about making a positive difference for those around you.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provides daily supervision to teller staff and assigns duties. Performs personnel actions including performance appraisals, scheduling, approving timesheets, and interviewing candidates for employment.
• Provides assistance to all assigned areas of branch operations where service or assistance is needed, including teller, new accounts, vault teller, safe deposit, and lending.
• Assists customers in their selection of various accounts, products, and financial services available from the Bank; ensures cross-sell opportunities are presented by applying professional sales techniques.
• Makes decisions regarding the opening of new deposit accounts; completes forms requiring customer signature(s); accepts initial deposits; prepares all documents and items pertaining to new accounts for processing. Presents funds received from customer to teller for initial deposits; determines funds availability and obtains receipt for customer.
• Interviews loan applicants, recommend loan product, assist with loan application, make a credit decision within given authority limits, prepare, and obtain required documents and process the loan for funding
• Processes debit/credit card orders, debit card disputes, address changes, check and deposit slip orders, endorsement stamp orders, incoming and outgoing wires, stop payments, change orders and deposit slip corrections.
• Plays a positive role in the career development and growth of Teller staff through excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong delegation skills
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Associate's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.

• Substitution: Three (3) years of directly related full time experience performing the functions outlined above may be considered in lieu of the degree.

• Two (2) years of experience in the financial services industry performing teller job duties.

• Two (2) years of customer service experience.

• Two (2) years of supervisory experience.

Desired Education and/or Experience Requirements

• One (1) year of sales experience.
