We are seeking a Health Program Manager (Responding with Essential Aid and Community Health, REACH) to join our Projects team in the Middle East. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan''s Purse are to help people in Jesus'' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the role of Health Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ

• Lead strategic Health programming by developing innovative, locally appropriate solutions to identified health gaps while considering community norms, program priorities, and available resources.

• Provide faithful stewardship of program resources, serving as primary budget holder and ensuring project funds are managed responsibly and spent according to approved budgets and Samaritan''s Purse policies.

• Provide spiritual and professional leadership to a multidisciplinary Health team of doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers, recruiting, supervising, training, and developing staff to ensure effective and compassionate implementation of project activities.

• Ensure technical and operational excellence by representing Health in procurement tender committees, collaborating with Global Technical Advisors to meet global humanitarian and development health standards, and coordinating with M&E, HR, Finance, Security, and Logistics to follow Samaritan''s Purse policies and procedures.

• Strengthen program accountability and impact through timely Health reports, proposals, and standard operating procedures, while directly supervising one non-supervisory and two supervisory employees and carrying out all related personnel responsibilities.

What are the qualifications?

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

• Education: Bachelor''s degree from a four-year university in nursing, public health, or a related field with a minimum of two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Clinical training in nursing, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or medicine is preferred, as is a master''s degree in Public Health, Health Systems, Global Health, or a related field; experience living and working in Middle Eastern cultures is also preferred.

• Ability to manage projects across various sectors, including proposal development, program implementation, and monitoring and evaluation, while demonstrating strong organizational, time management, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and cultivate strong team spirit while communicating and building relationships effectively with people from diverse ethnic, linguistic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.

• Ability to remain flexible, adaptable, and effective under pressure and in difficult conditions, demonstrating sound judgment and a commitment to serving others with excellence.

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and spoken English, prepare reports and correspondence, and utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to support effective program management.
