Job Title: Healthcare HR Associate Generalist

Location: Houston, TX

Assignment Duration: 3+ Months Contract

Compensation

  • Pay Rate: Up to $26/hour (W-2)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare HR Associate Generalist to support HR Operations by maintaining accurate employee and job-related data within an HRIS environment. This role is responsible for HR data management, job description administration, skills and competency mapping, data validation, and ensuring the integrity of HR records. The ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle HCM or other HRIS platforms and a strong understanding of HR operations within the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, update, and validate employee and job-related data within the HRIS system.
  • Clean and audit HR data by identifying and correcting errors, inconsistencies, and duplicate records.
  • Transfer, update, and manage job descriptions within the HR system.
  • Map job skills and competencies to appropriate job classifications.
  • Review job titles, descriptions, and employee data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform data validation and recommend corrective actions to improve data quality.
  • Collaborate with HR Operations and Shared Services teams to maintain organizational standards.
  • Support HR system updates, testing, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Generate and analyze HR reports using Microsoft Excel and HRIS tools.
  • Assist with additional HR administrative and operational responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, HRIS Administration, or Human Resources.
  • Healthcare industry experience is required.
  • Experience working with Oracle HCM, Oracle Fusion HCM, or another HRIS platform.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, employee records management, and job description administration.
