GHS Recruiting is looking for a motivated Healthcare Recruiter to join our team. We are an established healthcare recruiting firm that has been connecting healthcare professionals with hospitals and healthcare organizations nationwide since 1998.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys talking with people, building relationships, working independently, and being rewarded for results. Recruiting experience is helpful, but we are also open to someone with strong sales, customer service, healthcare, or business development experience who has the personality and drive to succeed in recruiting.
We provide training, recruiting tools, an established database, active job openings, and the resources needed to build a successful desk.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage a full recruiting desk, including both candidate recruiting and client development
• Recruit healthcare professionals for permanent positions nationwide
• Develop new business by identifying and contacting hospitals, healthcare organizations, physician practices, and other potential clients
• Build relationships with hiring managers and healthcare executives to develop new job orders and recruiting opportunities
• Manage and grow existing client accounts
• Source candidates through our internal database, job boards, LinkedIn, and other recruiting resources
• Contact prospective candidates by phone, email, text, and social media
• Interview, qualify, and present candidates for appropriate opportunities
• Manage candidates and clients throughout the interview, offer, and hiring process
• Follow up consistently with both candidates and clients
• Develop long-term relationships that lead to repeat business, referrals, and additional placements
• Maintain accurate recruiting, sales, and account activity in our recruiting system
• Work toward individual business development, recruiting, placement, and revenue goals

Qualifications
• Strong communication, sales, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable spending a significant portion of the day on the phone with both prospective candidates and clients
• Comfortable with outbound sales, prospecting, and business development
• Self-motivated, competitive, persistent, and goal-oriented
• Ability to build relationships and develop new business
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills
• Comfortable managing both the recruiting and client/account side of the business
• Able to work independently while also being part of a team
• Recruiting, staffing, sales, business development, healthcare, or account management experience is a plus
• Previous healthcare recruiting or staffing experience is a plus, but not required
• Willingness to learn, be coached, and consistently prospect for new business
• Motivated by a performance-based compensation structure with the opportunity to significantly increase earnings through commissions
