Your impact

  • Source, attract, and place healthcare talent using job boards, social media, referrals, and professional networks.
  • Write and publish compelling job ads; build accurate manager profiles to guide search strategy.
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle: postings, outreach, screening, interviewing, scheduling, and offer negotiation.
  • Evaluate candidates for qualifications, experience, and culture fit; maintain robust pipelines for current and future demand.
  • Partner with facility managers and department leads to clarify staffing needs and organizational goals.
  • Verify credentials, licenses, certifications, and background checks to meet healthcare regulations and internal standards.
  • Negotiate competitive pay packages based on bill rates, contract duration, and travel stipends, following GSA and Express guidelines; coordinate contract locks.
  • Submit candidate profiles through the proper VMS platform and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Track industry and labor market trends to refine sourcing strategies and stay ahead.
  • Answer phones, texts, and emails; support additional Express Healthcare Staffing administrative needs to keep operations productive.
  • Align weekly activity with Scorecard expectations; prioritize with urgency; provide after-hours on-call support when needed.
  • Demonstrate punctuality, teamwork, professional communication, calm under pressure, and respect for supervisory direction.

Do you have the qualifications?

  • Associate degree (or equivalent) from a two-year or technical school; OR 6+ months of related experience/training; OR an equivalent mix.
  • Background in recruiting, staffing, or human resources.
  • English verbal communication excellence with strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Mathematical, analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking ability.
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and database management for reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and procedural manuals.
  • Typing capability of 50+ WPM.

Physical and operational requirements

  • Close/accurate vision; ability to speak and hear.
  • Lift/move up to 25 pounds frequently.
  • Extended periods at a computer/keyboard with occasional standing/walking.
  • Reliable transportation.
