Job Specifications

• Educational & Experience Requirements:
  • Less than a high school education, up to 1 month of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Top Required & Preferred Skills:
  • Manual Dexterity & Assembly: Ability to follow simple, standardized work instructions for manual parts assembly and mechanical line work.
  • Material Handling & Shop Support: Capability to load/unload materials, move metal parts to work areas, remove burrs/excess metal from parts, and separate metal chips/scrap for recycling.
  • Basic Communication & Math: Ability to read simple words, recognize series of numbers, print/speak simple sentences, and perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to move between different workstations and handle varying model tasks as production needs shift.
• Physical & Environmental Requirements:
  • Lifting Capabilities: Requires lifting up to 35 lbs constantly (regularly lifting/moving 10 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs).
  • Physical Demands: Constantly required to stand, use hands/fingers to handle or feel parts, reach with hands and arms, and walk throughout the shift.
  • Environment & Safety: Exposure to moving mechanical parts, occasional vibration, and dust particles from coating processes (respirators provided/required when dust is present). Moderate shop noise levels.
