Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic – Fort Pierre, SD

We’re hiring an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic for a busy shop in Fort Pierre, South Dakota. This is a Monday-Friday position with no nights, no weekends, and no endless PM or tire work. Just solid mechanical work in a clean, well-run shop with a crew that knows what they’re doing.

Pay:

• $27-$40/hour based on experience.
• If you’ve got strong diagnostic skills and can handle major repairs without somebody looking over your shoulder, they’re willing to pay for real experience.

You’ll be working on:

• Engine diagnostics and repairs
• Transmissions and clutches
• Drivetrain and rear ends
• Suspension systems
• Electrical and troubleshooting work
• Heavy-duty diesel trucks of all makes and models

If you like figuring out problems, tearing into engines, and fixing trucks the right way, you’ll fit in here.

What They’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of heavy-duty or medium-duty diesel mechanic experience
• Strong diagnostic ability
• Somebody dependable who takes pride in their work
• CDL is a plus, but not required
