What will I work on?
- Articulating cranes, truck mounted forklifts, bucket trucks, platforms, conveyors, trucks, and trailers.
- Preventive maintenance aligned to customer schedules, plus annual DOT inspections and warranty service.
- Emergency/unscheduled troubleshooting during regular and after-hours windows.
Who will I collaborate with?
You’ll report to the Regional Service Manager and partner with the shop manager to communicate mechanical findings, repair plans, and timelines.

Our new operation is in Birmingham, AL. Our address is 9719 Aulbach Industrial Drive, High Ridge, MO 63049.
What are the must-have qualifications?
- High School diploma or GED
- 3 years of mechanical experience or training with emphasis on articulating cranes and forklifts
- Proficiency across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems; strong troubleshooting/diagnostics and welding capability
- Working knowledge of Windows applications
- Independent, resourceful approach to work
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 75 lbs+ for extended periods
- Comfort with inside/outside conditions, noise, vibration, oils, and shop hazards
- Bring your own hand tools (PALFINGER supplies proprietary tools)
What will I do day-to-day?
- Diagnose issues, complete repairs, and return equipment to service quickly and safely.
- Document estimates, authorizations, parts ordering/recording, labor, and inventory promptly.
- Adhere to state and federal safety regulations and keep the workspace clean and orderly.
