    Job Title:  Equipment Operator

    Job Summary:  

    The Equipment Operator operates or tends machinery equipped buckets, to excavate and load loose materials. Operates construction equipment, such as, power shovels, trench-digging machines, bulldozers.

    Duties and Responsibilities:      

    • Operate drilling/excavation equipment.
    • Help set up hand holes.
    • Confirm drilling path with locator/lead.
    • Prepare equipment, including drill and tanks.
    • Drill along planned path to exit pit.
    • Radio communication with locator/lead.
    • Assist in installing gear and product.
    • Reverse process for product installation.
    • Supervise crew, monitor work, time.
    • Check job quality after completion.
    • Clean, check fluids, inspect vehicle/equipment.
    • Follow safety and maintenance checks.
    • Daily communication with Supervisor for paperwork.
    • Follow job specs, company rules.
    • Follow safety rules while driving, on-site.
    • Aim for efficient, safe, quality work.


      Qualifications and Skills:

      • 2+ years of similar experience required.
      • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
      • GPS experience preferred.
