Heavy Equipment Operator - WBG

Wurster Betterground LLC is looking for self-motivated individuals with experience operating heavy equipment. As a heavy equipment operator, you will be expected to meet the following job requirements.

Safety:

• Knowing and following safety policies and procedures.
• Participating in daily safety meetings.
• Knowledge and experience of operating heavy equipment in a safe manner.
• Reporting any unsafe tools and equipment immediately.
• Maintenance and inspection safety equipment (fire extinguishers, first aid kits, etc.)
• Reporting of conditions that would effect the safety of general public, other trades, etc. around our works.

Quality:

• Working together with crew & superintendent to ensure high quality installation.
• Working carefully to ensure stone & other materials are free of dirt or other debris.

Efficiency:

• Maintaining efficient pace to meet job timelines while ensuring safety and high quality installation.
• Communicating with others to help projects move along smoothly.
• Alerting supervisor of equipment needs to keep work going (fuel, maintenance, etc.)
• Making recommendations to help speed up work.
