About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Fabrication Associate to join our client's team in the industrial sector. In this role, you will contribute to the operation of machinery, inspection of welds, and manual handling of materials. You will also ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain equipment in functional condition.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to put grooves into pipes for coupling purposes.
• Inspect welds and check for leaks.
• Manually offload parts from machines and use banding machines to secure pipes.
• Follow all established standard operating procedures for pipe fabrication.
• Set up and maintain machines in the Fab Shop.
• Accurately measure, record, and add random pipe length.
• Measure and cut pipe using band saws and/or torches.
• Thread and bevel pipes using Landis machines.
• Move loose and/or bundled pipes within the pipe yard.
• Assemble pipe orders and organize work supplies.
• Observe safety precautions for cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipes.
• Inspect and maintain all forklift equipment.

Requirements

• Possess good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Demonstrate superior math skills for calculating product quantities.
• Knowledge of safe work practices in the pipe yard.
• Experience with machinery operation for cutting and threading pipes (training provided on site).
• Ability to remain results-focused in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Experience in a similar industrial role.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and Client Safety Policies.

Salary & Benefits

Monday through Friday 5 am to 1:30 pm with overtime, typically working 10-hour days. 1/2 hour unpaid lunch with 2 paid 15-minute breaks.
