HEDIS Coordinator

Pay Range: $26/hr - $28.50/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel on-site to provider offices to retrieve medical records for HEDIS
• Collaborate with network providers to ensure timely and accurate retrieval of medical records
• Maintain professional relationships with office staff and providers
• Ensure 100% adherence to HIPAA regulations
• Accurately index and name records, ensuring they meet HEDIS criteria and are complete and legible
• Escalate and resolve any barriers affecting record retrieval

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• 3+ years of quality improvement or healthcare-related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Knowledge of HEDIS measures and quality improvement practices
• Proficiency in medical record retrieval and documentation management
• Familiarity with EMRs, provider portals, fax systems, scanning, and document management tools
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations
• Additional certifications in healthcare quality or related fields
