Job Summary

As our Help Desk Hero, you will serve as the first point of contact for pet parents visiting or calling our daycare facility. You'll manage front desk operations, assist with scheduling, and ensure every client and their beloved pet feels welcomed from the moment they walk through the door. Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their companions warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first impression
• Manage phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
• Schedule and confirm daycare appointments, boarding reservations, and grooming services
• Process payments, invoices, and maintain accurate client and pet records
• Coordinate with daycare staff to relay client updates, special instructions, and pet needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area
• Respond to client questions regarding services, pricing, and policies
• Support daily administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and inventory tracking for retail items

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy, dynamic environment
• Comfortable working around dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts, including some weekends
• Basic computer proficiency, including email and scheduling software

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or retail role is ideal, but not required
• Experience working in a veterinary clinic, pet daycare, or similar animal-care setting
• We provide paid onboarding and training for all point-of-sale (POS) systems

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to learn and navigate scheduling and client management software
• Basic data entry and record-keeping skills
• Comfort using multi-line phone systems

This Help Desk Hero position offers both full-time and part-time shifts, with immediate openings available. The pay range for this role is $16.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience and shift availability.
