At Performance Electrical Contracting in Jacksonville, FL, we need a hard worker to help our electricians on commercial job sites. No electrical experience needed — we'll teach you. If you show up on time, work hard, and want to learn a skilled trade, we want to talk to you. What You'll Do - Help electricians pull wire, mount boxes, and set up materials
- Carry tools, parts, and supplies where the crew needs them
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe
- Load and unload trucks at the start and end of each day
- Dig trenches, drill holes, and do other prep work as needed
- Learn the trade by watching and working with experienced electricians
- Follow all safety rules and OSHA requirements on every job
What You Need - High school diploma or GED
- Ability to show up on time, every day, ready to work
- Willingness to learn and take direction from the crew
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to pass a background check
Physical Requirements: You'll work on active job sites. You must be able to stand for long periods, work in different weather, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. Nice to Have - Experience on a construction site (any trade)
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- OSHA 10 card
- Interest in becoming an electrician or starting an apprenticeship
