For more than five decades, FMF Racing has been synonymous with championship-level exhaust systems trusted by top racers, elite teams, and riders across the globe. We’re seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to drive our next generation of high-performance exhaust products—bridging ideas to prototypes, prototypes to validation, and validation to scalable manufacturing.
What You'll Do
- Own the design, development, and verification of performance exhaust systems from concept through production release.
- Plan and execute dynamometer testing; tune, analyze, and iterate to optimize power, sound, and reliability.
- Work trackside and in the field with race teams and sponsored riders to capture feedback and validate performance.
- Oversee prototype fabrication; coordinate with machinists, welders, and technicians to meet precision and quality targets.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production to transition prototypes into full-scale manufacturing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges throughout design, build, and ramp-to-production phases.
- Support continuous improvement and change management within the manufacturing process.
- Champion rigorous standards for precision, quality, and innovation across all R&D efforts.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in exhaust or engine development within powersports or related domains (motorcycle, ATV, UTV, snowmobile, marine).
- Hands-on depth with internal combustion engines—ideally both 2-stroke and 4-stroke.
- Strong mechanical intuition and an instinct for diagnosing and solving complex problems.
- Proficiency with dynamometer testing, CAD tools, and airflow/flowbench analysis.
- A self-starting, resourceful approach and comfort thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
