High School Art Teacher

Queen City High School is seeking a creative, dedicated art teacher who is passionate about helping students develop artistic skills, explore their creativity, and express themselves through the visual arts.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Texas teacher certification appropriate for teaching high school art.

• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to provide engaging instruction for students with diverse abilities and experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach art lessons aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).

• Introduce students to a variety of artistic techniques, media, and processes.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive classroom.

• Assess student progress and showcase student artwork.

• Collaborate with campus staff and communicate effectively with families.
