High School Science Teacher

Inspire Curiosity. Ignite Discovery. Shape the Future. Bloomfield Community Schools is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated High School Science Teacher to join our team for the 2027-28 school year. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about science, committed to student success, and eager to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that inspire students to explore the world around them. Position Responsibilities

Teach high school science courses in accordance with Nebraska State Standards.

Create a positive, engaging, and student-centered classroom environment.

Develop hands-on laboratory experiences that promote inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

Collaborate with staff to support student achievement and school improvement initiatives.

Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as appropriate.

Additional Information Qualifications

Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate with the appropriate Science endorsement (or the ability to obtain one).

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Passion for science education and student learning.

Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and the community.
