Home Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide exceptional in-home support to our clients in Westland, MI. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals by assisting with daily living activities and offering companionship in a respectful and caring manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transferring safely.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor clients' conditions and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving clients.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
