Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Chelsea, MI. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in their own homes, offering assistance with daily activities and promoting independence and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, encouraging social interaction and engagement.
• Report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors promptly.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals and University Home Care Inc.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related caregiving roles is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation may be required.
• Willingness to undergo background checks.
