Home Care Worker

Looking for a rewarding caregiving role with no travel between clients? Join our team and provide one-on-one support to residents who live within our retirement community.

In this role, you will:

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping duties
• Escort residents to appointments, social events, and activities
• Build meaningful relationships while enhancing residents' quality of life

How you will make an impact

• Provide compassionate, non-medical personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Support residents with household tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, pet care, and organization.
• Escort residents to appointments, community events, and social activities.
• Foster meaningful relationships that promote residents' emotional well-being and quality of life.
• Observe and promptly report any changes in a resident's condition or needs.
• Follow all departmental policies, procedures, and quality care standards.
• Maintain required competencies and continually develop caregiving skills to provide exceptional service.       

What you will need

• Caregiving experience is preferred and may include professional, volunteer, or personal experience providing care or support to an older adult or loved one.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
