We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide weekend care and support for a paraplegic client in Columbus, Ohio.
Important Requirement
Applicants must be experienced and comfortable with safely using and operating a Hoyer lift. Experience assisting with transfers and mobility for clients with significant physical limitations is required.
Responsibilities
Provide companionship and supportive care.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
Assist with personal-care needs as assigned.
Provide supervision and respite support.
Safely use and operate a Hoyer lift for client transfers.
Follow the client's care plan and care instructions.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
Communicate professionally with the client, family, and care team.
Treat the client with dignity, patience, and respect.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in home care, home health, or a related field.
Hands-on experience using a Hoyer lift is required.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.
Strong communication and time-management skills.
Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to caregiving.
Reliable availability for every weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM.
