Job Description:
Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a local travel opportunity just North of Santa Fe, NM. Join a supportive healthcare team and provide high-quality care in a setting where you'll make a direct impact on the lives of patients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the physical therapist in providing patient care and developing treatment plans.
  • Perform therapeutic interventions as prescribed by the physical therapist.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
  • Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to improve mobility and daily function.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient success.

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
  • Active New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant License required
  • Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience required
  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
