Role Title: Home Associate

Department: Sendik's Home

Location: Whitefish Bay



Position Summary

The Home Associate serves as a brand ambassador for our expanded Whitefish Bay Home Department. In this role, you will curate a welcoming, high-end environment by delivering personalized customer service, building rapport with local guests, maintaining gorgeous merchandise displays, and assisting with floral prep and styling. You will bring a boutique mindset to every interaction, ensuring every guest leaves inspired.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Sales

• Deliver an elevated, boutique-style shopping experience by warmly greeting, styling, and assisting guests as they shop home accessories, apparel, and gifts.
• Build genuine rapport with community members, offering personalized product recommendations and inspiration.
• Accurately and efficiently process special orders, custom requests, and gift wrap options.

Visual Merchandising & Department Maintenance

• Assist in maintaining dynamic, visually appealing product displays that showcase apparel, seasonal decor, and lifestyle goods to their best advantage.
• Restock inventory, maintain clean display surfaces, and ensure the sales floor meets high aesthetic standards.
• Assist with basic floral department needs, including prepping, watering, and stocking plants, as well as supporting Floral Designers with prep work as needed.

Operations & Team Collaboration

• Help train and mentor new team members, sharing best practices for high-touch boutique service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment adhering to all safety protocols.
• Support overall department flow, taking initiative to manage priorities during peak boutique shopping hours.

Qualifications

Experience: Background in specialty retail, boutique sales, visual merchandising, or apparel/home decor customer service is strongly preferred.
