    BUILD BRIDGES TO SUCCESS

At Children's Home Society of Florida (CHS), we believe strong families create strong futures for children.

As a Home Visitor, you'll partner directly with families to provide encouragement, education, resources, and support that help children grow up healthy, safe, and ready to succeed. Through relationship-building and evidence-based family support services, you'll help parents strengthen their confidence, reduce stress, and create nurturing environments where children can thrive.

This is more than a home visiting role. It's an opportunity to walk alongside families during important moments in their lives and help them build a foundation for long-term success.

If you're passionate about child development, family empowerment, and making a meaningful impact in your community, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

    YOUR IMPACT

As a Home Visitor, you'll serve as a coach, mentor, advocate, and trusted support system for families with young children.

You'll meet families where they are, helping them identify strengths, overcome challenges, and access the tools and resources they need to achieve their goals. Your work will strengthen parent-child relationships, promote healthy child development, and empower families to create positive outcomes for their children.

    Your work may include:

    • Building trusting relationships with families through regular home visits and ongoing support.
    • Developing Family Goal Plans that identify each family's strengths, needs, and objectives.
    • Providing parent education focused on child development, healthy relationships, breastfeeding support, and positive parenting practices.
    • Delivering developmentally appropriate activities that strengthen parent-child interactions.
    • Connecting families to healthcare providers, community resources, and support services.
    • Facilitating group activities and family engagement opportunities.
    • Supporting healthy childhood development by educating families about age-appropriate growth and developmental milestones.
    • Providing enhanced case management support and advocacy services.
    • Maintaining accurate client records, progress notes, and program documentation.
    • Entering data and tracking outcomes according to program and contractual requirements.
    • Collaborating with supervisors and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
