About the PositionCapital Hospice & Palliative Care LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Manager to oversee recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, training, compliance, and daily HR operations.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare human resources management, preferably within hospice, palliative care, or home health. This position plays a key role in building a strong team, supporting employees, and ensuring compliance with employment and healthcare regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily HR operations, policies, and procedures.Oversee employee recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention.Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies for clinical and administrative positions.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and CHAP regulatory requirements.Manage employee relations, performance management, and HR documentation.Coordinate employee orientation, training, and professional development programs.Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.Monitor compensation, benefits, and market salary trends.Collaborate with leadership to identify staffing needs and workforce planning strategies.Assist with HR budgeting and employee benefits administration.Support employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention initiatives.Participate in community recruitment events and healthcare job fairs.Ensure HR policies and practices align with organizational goals and healthcare standards.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.Minimum 3 years of healthcare management experience, preferably in hospice or home health.At least 2 years of recruitment and employee training experience preferred.Experience managing HR operations in a healthcare environment.Knowledge of federal and Illinois employment laws and healthcare regulatory requirements.Familiarity with CHAP accreditation standards preferred.Strong understanding of recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and HR compliance.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters professionally.Strong computer skills and experience with HR management systems.Preferred ExperienceHospice or palliative care HR managementHome health or healthcare staffingHealthcare recruitment and employee retentionHR compliance and employee relationsEmployee onboarding and orientationBenefits and compensation administrationStaff training and developmentCHAP accreditation and regulatory complianceWhy Join Us?At Capital Hospice & Palliative Care LLC, we are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients and families.
