We are an inpatient rehabilitation hospital with a team of 100+. We provide rehabilitative care to patients who need focused, hospital-based support during their recovery. Our hospital works alongside regional teams and a corporate office.

Job Details

This role leads the finance function of an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, directing its accounting system and financial operations while managing a small team as a hands-on working leader. You will partner with hospital, regional and corporate leadership on financial reporting, budgeting and efficiency planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the hospital's accounting system and financial operations, covering billing, accounts receivable, cash receipts, collections, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, forecasting, budgeting, internal controls and audits
• Produce monthly and annual financial reviews, budgets and the financial reports the state requires
• Build and carry out operational efficiency plans when requested by hospital, regional and corporate leadership
• Take part in hospital governing body committees and partnership boards as needed
• Help monitor compliance with Medicare regulations
• Lead three direct reports covering purchasing, accounting and dietary services, working hands-on alongside the team

Needed:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 5 years of accounting and/or finance experience
• Finance or accounting leadership experience at the manager level or above in healthcare
• Proven ability in budget preparation and forecasting
• Proven ability in contract negotiation
• Proven ability to manage internal controls
