    Hospitalist – Admitter Role (MD/DO) | Full-Time
    Location: Renton, Washington (Seattle Area)

    A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle area is actively seeking a full-time Hospitalist – Admitter to join its inpatient team in Renton, Washington. The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.

    Position Overview

    • Focus primarily on admitting patients from the Emergency Department and direct admissions
    • Perform comprehensive history and physical exams upon admission
    • Initiate diagnostic workups and treatment plans
    • Coordinate with consulting specialists and inpatient teams
    • Ensure smooth and efficient patient handoffs to rounding hospitalists
    • Collaborate closely with ED physicians, specialists, and care coordination teams
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
    • Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

    Qualifications

    • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
    • Active or eligible for Washington State medical licensure
    • Active/eligible DEA registration
    • Prior hospitalist or inpatient experience preferred
    • Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
