Position Highlights
- Specialty: Daytime Hospitalist - full-time, employed position at St. Joseph's Hospital, Tucson, AZ
- Schedule: Shift-based block scheduling - 7 on / 7 off with some flexibility built in for work-life balance
- Shift Coverage: 1 swing shift and 1 nocturnist on rotation
- Team Support: Two APPs during day shifts, one APP overnight
- Patient Volume: Average daily census of 18 patients with 1-2 admissions per shift
- ICU Model: Closed ICU - Intensivist and IV Team provide procedure support
- Teaching Opportunity: Optional involvement in teaching internal medicine residents
- Language Bonus: Spanish-speaking skills a plus, but not required

Organization Description
Established in 1961, St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson is home to the Carondelet Neurological Institute and the Carondelet Joint Replacement Center. The hospital offers advanced care that includes a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center and spacious and comfortable labor and delivery units.
