Our paid, 10-week Hospitality Internship gives college students hands-on experience in private club operations, direct access to experienced hospitality leaders, and opportunities to take on increasing responsibility. You''ll build your service skills, learn the decisions behind the experience, and practice leading a team-all while developing professional relationships that can support your career beyond the summer.

À La Carte Restaurant Internship

Experience the distinct dining environments of the 1901 Grille and Donald Ross Pub-from upscale New American dining to a lively restaurant overlooking Oak Hill''s famed East Course. Learn daily restaurant operations, steps of service, member relations, reservations, table management, and service recovery.

Banquet Internship

Discover the planning, teamwork, and coordination behind weddings, member events, business meetings, and large-scale celebrations. Learn event setup, service flow, timelines, and event execution while working alongside banquet captains and department leaders.

Grow from service to leadership.

Your experience will progress through Server Assistant/Busser, Bartender, Server, and supervised leadership assignments. Throughout the program, you will:

• Develop practical food and beverage service skills and learn to anticipate member and guest needs.
• Work alongside managers and supervisors to understand service coordination, problem-solving, and team leadership.
• Participate in mentorship workshops with Oak Hill''s executive team and individual meetings with department heads.
• Gain insight into the departments that work together to operate a premier private club.
• Complete a capstone project and present your findings and recommendations to the leadership team.

In summer 2027, Oak Hill will host the U.S. Amateur Championship. Interns may have the opportunity to support championship-related hospitality operations and experience the coordination behind a major national golf event.
