The Host / Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming first impression for guests at Gallaghers Pizza. This position includes greeting customers, managing seating, answering phones, assisting with takeout orders, and helping maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet all guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.
Seat guests and manage the dining room seating rotation.
Answer incoming phone calls professionally and direct calls as needed.
Assist customers with takeout orders and pickups.
Notify servers when guests are seated.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming entrance and host station.
Assist with menus, silverware, table cleaning, and other front-of-house duties as needed.
Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management.
Follow Gallaghers Pizza policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
Handle customer questions and concerns professionally and notify management when necessary.
Assist other team members during busy periods.
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
