Emish Restaurant is a Ukrainian and European restaurant located in Federal Way, WA. We are looking for a friendly, welcoming, and reliable Host to be the first point of contact for our guests and help create a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive.The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, attentive, and able to communicate professionally with guests and restaurant staff in a busy environment.What You'll DoWelcome and greet guests warmly upon arrivalCreate a friendly and professional first impressionManage the restaurant entrance and waiting areaManage the seating of guests and maintain an organized table rotationEscort guests to their tables and provide menusCommunicate wait times accurately to guestsMaintain the waitlist and guest seating informationAnswer phone calls and respond to basic guest questionsTake and manage reservations when applicableCommunicate guest requests and special occasions to servers and managementMonitor table availability and coordinate seating with serversCommunicate with servers, bussers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to support smooth serviceAssist with takeout orders and guest inquiries when neededKeep the host stand, entrance, and waiting area clean and organizedHelp maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the restaurantAssist with clearing and resetting tables when neededAssist other restaurant team members during busy periodsHandle customer concerns professionally and involve management when necessaryFollow restaurant policies and proceduresComplete opening and closing duties as assignedMaintain a professional, positive, and welcoming attitude throughout the shiftWork Schedule: Full-time or part-time; schedule will be discussed during the interview.
