The Host is responsible for creating a welcoming, organized, and professional first impression for every guest. This role sets the tone for the dining experience through warmth, efficiency, and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate understands that hospitality begins at the door.
Greet guests promptly and professionally
Manage reservations and wait lists accurately
Communicate seating flow with service staff
Maintain an organized and clean host stand
Monitor table status and pacing
Support the dining room team as needed
Provide accurate information about menus and policies
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
Experience with reservation platforms such as OpenTable or Toast Tables is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Indoor restaurant setting
Exposure to moderate noise levels
Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
