Hudson’s Restaurant & Catering is looking for energetic Hosts & Hostesses to join our front-of-house team.

You don't need years of restaurant experience to get started. If you have a great attitude, enjoy meeting people, and are willing to learn, we'll teach you what you need to know.

Hosting is also one of the best ways to get started in the restaurant industry. You'll learn how a busy restaurant operates, develop valuable hospitality skills, and have opportunities to grow into other positions.

More Than Showing Guests to a Table

Our hosts are an important part of the guest experience.

You're the first person our guests meet when they walk through the door and often the last person they see before they leave.

You'll help control the flow of the restaurant, manage reservations and waitlists, communicate with our service team, and make sure every guest feels welcome from the moment they arrive.

It's a great position for someone who likes people, enjoys staying busy, and wants a job where every shift is a little different.

Flexible Scheduling

What You’ll Do

• Give every guest a warm, genuine welcome
• Manage reservations and waitlists
• Organize seating and maintain proper server rotation
• Communicate accurate wait times
• Answer phones and assist guests with questions and reservations
• Learn our menus, specials, and seasonal experiences
• Communicate with servers, bartenders, managers, and kitchen staff
• Keep the entrance, host stand, and menus clean and organized
• Help reset and prepare tables when needed
• Assist teammates during busy service
• Handle guest questions professionally
• Thank guests and invite them back
• Help create a great experience from hello to goodbye

Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is helpful but not required.

Weekend availability and reliable transportation are required.

Hudson's Restaurant and Catering is a family owned and operated restaurant. The owners are brothers, JJ and Kevin Altomare graduated from The Culinary Institute of America and have been creating memorable dishes and experiences together for the past 20 years in Northeast Ohio. We currently offer lunch and dinner 6 days per week, as well as brunch on Saturdays. We also have created pop up bars for Halloween, Christmas, St. Patrick's and Celebrating America ! Nightmare Before Blitzen's, Blitzen's, O'Blitzen's and MERICA Bar. We love creating and sharing special menus, drinks and experiences with our guests!
