Host/Hostess - Millie Leigh's Restaurant
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and maintaining the flow of service in our restaurant. Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Communicate wait times clearly to guests and provide updates as necessary.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Utilize Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems for reservation management when necessary.
- Maintain phone etiquette while answering calls related to reservations or guest inquiries.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of restaurant supervisory or management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to high standards of hospitality
- Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations preferred
- Work Schedule
- Full-time position
- Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts
- Restaurant closed on Sundays
