We ask questions to truly understand the core of a matter.Pete's Promise:Service ForwardRuthlessly ConsistentDo the Right ThingNothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS* Greet guests warmly and professionally as they enter the restaurant* Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow* Escort guests to their tables and provide menus* Communicate wait times and accommodate special seating requests* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area* Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations* Collaborate with servers and management to ensure smooth service* Understand and anticipate the needs of our members and guests* Operate cash register, process payments through cash or credit card handling and/or member account charges* Restaurant opening and/or closing duties, as required* Maintain a clean, safe work environment according to State and Local food safety standards* Understand and anticipate the needs of our members and guests; be attentive, listen carefully and follow through; provide exceptional customer service* Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate* Active participation in events, programs, meetings and training* Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response* Schedule varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days and eveningsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary job function satisfactorily.
