Hostess/Barista Berry’s on Main
Norwalk, Ohio  $12-$14 per hour

Berry’s on Main is looking for a friendly, outgoing barista/host who enjoys talking with people and making guests feel welcome.

Attention to detail and a warm personality are the most important qualities for this position. We need someone who notices the little things, listens carefully, and takes pride in getting things right.

You’ll often be the first person guests meet—and the first voice they hear when they call. Your friendliness should come through just as clearly on the phone as it does in person. You should be comfortable starting conversations, answering questions, and helping guests feel at home.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests warmly, seating them, and helping keep seating organized.

• Preparing coffee and specialty beverages accurately and consistently.

• Answering the phone with a friendly, professional manner.

• Taking accurate messages and recording reservation details carefully.

• Keeping the coffee area and entrance clean, stocked, and inviting.

• Helping coworkers and paying attention to what needs to be done during busy shifts.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is very friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with customers.

• Pays close attention to details, including orders, names, and reservation information.

• Is a team player who willingly steps in to help.

• Is dependable, punctual, and ready to work.

• Can stay organized and pleasant when things get busy.

• Takes initiative and follows through on tasks.

Barista or restaurant experience is a plus. Above all, we’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, cares about doing a good job, and makes our guests glad they stopped in.
