About the Role:
Ballerina Restaurant Inc is looking for a passionate and skilled Hot Line Cook to join our kitchen team in the vibrant community of Bal Harbour, FL. Responsibilities:

• Execute hot line cooking duties including sautéing, grilling, frying, and braising during service
• Prepare and plate menu items consistently according to restaurant standards and recipes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station throughout each shift
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth, timely ticket execution during high-volume service
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with prep work, mise en place, and end-of-shift breakdown and cleaning
• Communicate effectively with expeditors, sous chefs, and fellow line cooks

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a line cook or hot line cook in a restaurant environment
• Proficiency in high-heat cooking techniques including grilling, sautéing, and frying
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced kitchen
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper handling procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Food Handler Certification or ServSafe certification preferred
