Job Description
Our AWARD-winning Hampton Inn Harrisburg East is hiring an Assistant General Manager to oversee Front Desk operations, including staffing, administration, and guest satisfaction. The Assistant General Manager will also support the General Manager in the hotel’s overall operations.
Job Responsibilities

Oversee daily hotel operations, including guest services, reservations, front desk coverage, and night audit
Maintain a 45-hour workweek, working a scheduled shift of 12:00pm to 9:00pm to provide afternoon and evening management coverage and support daily hotel operations.
Hampton Brand Standards Specialist, remain current on all brand standards.
Treats Shop Management, responsible for overall management and profit.
Monitor Front Office budget
Use property management systems (PMS) SEP
Hotel experience with a background in hotel management, hospitality management, or hospitality operations
Supervising experience and demonstrated leadership, team management, and managerial communication skills
Familiarity with human resources practices, hotel guest service standards, guest services, and hospitality reservation systems

Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- Minimum of 2 years of hotel operations or supervisory experience perferred.
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations, guests services, reservations, billing and hotel PMS. Hilton PEP experience preferred.
- Demostrated leadership skills, including the ability to train, coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
- Ability to oversee and support front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance operations.
- Basic understanding of hotel budgets, labor management, expense control and guest satisfaction scores.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing responsibilities, and make sound decisions in the absence of the General Manager.
