Join the Sales Team at One of Orlando's Premier Resort Destinations - Wyndham I-Drive Avanti Resort, a 652-room, full-service resort featuring over 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space in the heart of Orlando's tourism and convention district. This is an outstanding opportunity to represent a high-profile resort with a diverse mix of association, corporate, SMERF, tour & travel, and group business. You'll play a key role in expanding our presence within the State and National Association markets, cultivating new business throughout Florida and the Mid-Atlantic region, and driving mid-week group and catering revenue. What You'll Do - Develop new business within State and National Association markets, with an emphasis on mid-week group and catering revenue.
- Build relationships with Executive Directors, Certified Meeting Professionals (CMPs), meeting planners, and key decision-makers throughout Florida and the Mid-Atlantic region.
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, industry events, trade shows, sales missions, and client site inspections.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and negotiations to contracting and account management.
- Maximize room nights, meeting space utilization, and catering revenue while qualifying opportunities across multiple market segments.
- Partner with Revenue Management, Conference Services, Operations, and Food & Beverage to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Maintain account activity, forecasting, and reporting using Delphi or a comparable hotel sales CRM.
What We're Looking For - Two or more years of hotel sales experience in a full-service hotel or resort.
- Experience selling Association, Group, Convention, or SMERF business.
- Proven success prospecting, developing new business, and closing sales.
- Established relationships with association planners, Executive Directors, or CMPs are a plus.
- Experience representing hotels at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
- Proficiency with Delphi or similar hotel sales systems preferred.
- A motivated hospitality sales professional with outstanding communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills who is passionate about growing business and delivering results.
