- Assumes responsibility for patient throughput to include bed placement as it relates to level of care and appropriate staffing.
- Identifies situations and circumstances that may impact risk and liability factors and refers appropriately by following the hospital's policies and procedures.
- Provides operational and administrative support to include patient care, facilities and emergency management.
- Serves as a resource to staff for clinical and regulatory issues.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES- Thorough knowledge of emergency management protocols, risk identification and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to operate medical equipment and administer medications.
- Ability to coordinate workflow with various departments.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to lead and direct the work of others.
- Ability to provide a positive attitude, support the organization and work with team members.
- Must be courteous, kind, compassionate and caring.
EDUCATION
- Bachelors Nursing Required
- 4 Healthcare/Medical - Nurse: Staff Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse
- Certified Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation
