Housekeeping Supervisor

Summary:We are seeking energetic, hard-working and dedicated individual to join our Housekeeping team as a Supervisor.  What You Will Be DoingCoordinates work activities among departmentsInventories stock to ensure adequate suppliesEvaluates records to forecast department personnel requirementsMakes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operationIncrease revenue and control labor and other costsAttend and participate in weekly departmental staff meetingsEstablish standards for personnel performance and guest serviceInvestigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective action How You Will Do ItDaily report processing of housekeeping locationsPerform other duties a requested by managementInspects all vacant roomsReports to the housekeeping Manager of any damages or maintenance work on a timely basisOversees Housekeeping and Laundry staff ensure cleanliness and timeliness of cleaning guest roomsUpdate room status to manager periodically throughout the dayPickup lost and found items in rooms and gives them to the Housekeeping Office to be logged in OperaPerform Housekeeping or Laundry duties as neededResolve guest concerns, quickly, professionally, and effectively   What You Will NeedUp to 6 months of experience in a Housekeeping department or related fieldSupervisory experience is not required, but preferredExceptional work ethic, attendance, and attention to detailMust have the ability to repeatedly bend/stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, push/pull and reach above shoulder levelMust be able to carry and lift up to 25 lbsMust be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and other shifts as necessaryWhy work with us?
