Houseman (1st Shift)

We are looking for a thorough 1st Shift (AM) Houseman with excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our property. The goal is to enhance customer experience by keeping our facilities in clean and orderly condition.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist housekeepers, front desk personnel, and guests as needed.

• Deliver requested items to guest rooms.

• Move luggage or packages weighing at least 50 pounds.

• Assist the Room Attendants as necessary.

• Assist in putting on bed skirts and rotating mattresses.

• Maintain and resupply the guest room supplies and linen in the service areas daily.

• Report any damage or missing items and submit maintenance requests.

• Assist in other areas of the hotel as needed, such as collecting/delivering dirty linen to laundry, assisting with laundry or housekeeping as needed, sweeping/mopping common guest areas, keeping stairwells clean, and shampooing carpets and hallways when needed.

• Maintain cleanliness of the hotel public areas, restrooms, meeting rooms. 

• Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, extract, wax, buff, vacuum, all types of floors. 

Desired experience for houseman includes: 

• Must have English skills, and customer service, be able to communicate with our guest, owners, and employees 

• Must have a positive and friendly attitude toward others 

• Must be a team player that will add to a fun collaborative environment 

• Must have an open schedule with ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
