Houseman

TBest Services Inc. is seeking a dependable and hardworking Houseperson / Houseman for our hospitality client in the Belcamp / Bel Air, MD area.

This role supports daily hotel operations by helping maintain clean, organized, and guest-ready public areas, assisting the housekeeping team, restocking supplies, removing trash and linens, and responding to basic guest requests. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically active, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of hotel public areas, including lobby, hallways, elevators, restrooms, breakfast area, guest areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Assist the housekeeping team with daily room and property support tasks.
• Remove trash, soiled linens, and other items from guest room floors and housekeeping areas.
• Restock housekeeping carts, linen closets, towels, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
• Deliver guest-requested items such as towels, linens, toiletries, and other supplies.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and clean assigned areas throughout the hotel.
• Assist with moving light furniture, supplies, and equipment when needed.
• Support laundry operations as needed, including moving linens, towels, and housekeeping supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, damaged property, or lost items to management.
• Respond to guest requests in a professional and respectful manner.
• Follow hotel cleanliness, safety, and guest service standards.
• Work closely with housekeeping, front desk, maintenance, and management to support smooth hotel operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Requirements
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, lift, and carry items throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional attitude when interacting with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous hotel or hospitality experience.
• Experience supporting housekeeping or public area cleaning.
• Basic understanding of guest service standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
