The Cambria Hotel Boston Logan Airport is seeking a dependable and energetic Houseman to support our housekeeping team and ensure all guest and public areas are clean, stocked, and guest-ready at all times. This role is essential to maintaining the flow, efficiency, and overall presentation of the hotel.

Position Overview

The Houseman plays a key support role within the Rooms Division, responsible for public area cleanliness, supply distribution, and operational support for Room Attendants and Supervisors. This is a hands-on position requiring urgency, organization, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

·      Maintain cleanliness of public areas, hallways, elevators, and back-of-house spaces

·         Stock and replenish housekeeping carts, linen closets, and supply areas

·         Deliver linens, towels, and guest requests promptly

·         Remove trash, soiled linens, and recycling from floors and service areas

·         Assist Room Attendants with heavy cleaning tasks as needed

·         Support room readiness by ensuring supplies and linens are available

·         Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and cleanliness deficiencies

·         Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures

Qualifications

·         Previous hotel or housekeeping experience preferred (not required)

·         Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·         Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

·         Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

·         Physical ability to lift, push carts, and stand/walk for extended periods
