Houseperson – Hampton by Hilton

Position Overview

At Hampton by Hilton, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment is an important part of creating a great guest experience. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual who takes pride in keeping our hotel looking its best, both inside and out.

The Houseperson works closely with the housekeeping team to maintain public areas, assist with daily cleaning needs, and ensure the property is comfortable and presentable for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas, including the lobby, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and common spaces.

• Maintain the cleanliness of exterior grounds, entrances, sidewalks, and parking areas.

• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and remove trash as needed.

• Restock supplies and amenities in public areas.

• Assist housekeeping with linens, towels, and cleaning supplies.

• Keep housekeeping closets and storage areas clean and organized.

• Assist with moving furniture and other general cleaning duties as needed.

• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to management.

• Follow hotel cleanliness, safety, and Hampton by Hilton brand standards.

• Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required.

• Dependable, punctual, and hardworking.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Comfortable with physical activities, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
