HR Administrative Specialist

Position Summary
The Human Resources Administrator provides front-line HR support within the Administrative Services Center, serving as a primary resource for employees, managers, and HR staff. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service while supporting day-to-day HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level HR support to employees, managers, and HR staff by responding to inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, employee records, and other HR-related matters.
  • Enter, maintain, validate, and update employee and HR data within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee data through regular audits, verification, and quality control processes.
  • Review and resolve data discrepancies, correcting errors in accordance with established procedures.
  • Compile, organize, and verify source documentation to support accurate data entry and record maintenance.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and managers by providing guidance on HR data, employee records, and position information.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
  • Assist with HR administrative projects and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR Administration, or a related administrative role.
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional accuracy in data entry and record management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience using HRIS systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
